Cinetools (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the controller of the personal data it processes to operate this website, manage customer relationships, supply licensed products and respond to requests. This Policy describes our processing. Payment providers, resellers and other independent providers describe their own processing in their respective privacy notices.
Information we receive and why
Enquiries and support. We receive your name, email address, message and information you provide when contacting us. Our Elementor contact form is configured to store submissions in WordPress and email them to info@cine-tools.com. The email includes submission date and time, page URL, browser/user-agent information and remote IP address. We use these records to respond, investigate problems and maintain the correspondence associated with your request.
Orders, licensing and delivery. We use the customer contact information, order/transaction references, purchased-product information and related delivery, support and refund records available to us to identify purchases, supply products, verify license entitlement, help with downloads and handle accounting or disputes. Information comes from you and the checkout/payment or delivery service used for the purchase. Some order records remain within the relevant PayPal or Payloadz service rather than solely within this website. The fields available depend on the transaction and provider. Do not submit full card details or passwords through our contact form or support email.
Technical and download information. Website requests and downloads involve technical information such as an IP address and request information. Contact-form metadata is described above. Existing download arrangements include security limits and IP tracking, as described in the delivery information. This information supports operation, fault investigation, fraud prevention and protection against unauthorised access.
Newsletters and product communications. We use GoDaddy services for our mailbox and newsletter communications. Newsletter processing involves recipient email addresses and information supplied for the mailing relationship. Marketing messages are distinct from necessary order, delivery and support messages. Where consent is required for marketing, that consent is the applicable basis. You can ask us to stop marketing messages at info@cine-tools.com and use any unsubscribe option included in the message. An unsubscribe request does not prevent necessary communications about an existing order or legal matter.
Processing purposes and legal grounds
Where the GDPR applies, processing necessary to take steps you request before a purchase or perform our customer obligations relies on contractual necessity. Required accounting and other legal records rely on legal obligations. Responding to general enquiries, proportionate system protection and the establishment or defence of claims may rely on legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. Processing for optional purposes requiring consent relies on that consent. Providing this notice is not a request for blanket consent.
Under Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK), relevant processing conditions include necessity directly related to establishing or performing a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, establishment or protection of rights, and legitimate interests that do not violate fundamental rights and freedoms. Explicit consent is required where no other applicable condition permits the processing. A lawful ground for one purpose does not authorise an unrelated purpose.
Providing information needed to fulfil an order or answer a request is necessary for that function. Optional marketing participation is not a condition of obtaining product support. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal or records retained on another valid legal ground.
Service providers and disclosures
Website and communications. The site uses WordPress and Elementor. GoDaddy services are used for website hosting/operation, email and newsletters. Website submissions, communications and relevant technical information are handled through these systems for those functions. Their service roles differ from an independent provider’s processing for its own legal or operational purposes.
PayPal and PayLoadz. Payments are processed through PayPal, and digital downloads are delivered through PayLoadz. These services handle information needed for payment, fraud prevention, order processing and delivery, and make relevant transaction and delivery information available to Cinetools for order fulfilment and support. Their own privacy notices and retention arrangements apply to their services. See PayPal’s Privacy Center and PayLoadz’s Privacy Policy. The applicable PayPal notice can depend on the country and service used.
Other disclosures may be necessary to professional advisers, competent authorities or parties involved in resolving a legal claim, to the extent required or permitted by law. A request to delete information does not automatically require an independent payment provider to erase records it must lawfully retain.
Cookies, traffic code and third-party media
Website code includes GoDaddy traffic/Signals scripts, a Google gtag script using a legacy Universal Analytics identifier, and YouTube API code. Video material also references Vimeo. A script’s presence does not necessarily mean its associated analytics service is operating or that every visitor receives the same cookies. Third-party content and scripts can involve requests containing an IP address and browser/request information when loaded.
Technical site functions, traffic-related code and media features can involve cookies or similar technologies, depending on the service and browser. Provider notices explain their technologies: GoDaddy, Google and YouTube, and Vimeo.
You can restrict or delete cookies through your browser settings. Restrictions can affect media or site functionality. Browser controls do not replace any legally required prior consent for non-essential technologies. This Policy does not treat continued browsing as consent or assert that a consent-management control is available on every page. Contact info@cine-tools.com with questions or requests concerning website tracking.
International processing
Cinetools is established in Türkiye. The providers described above operate internationally, so their services can involve storage, access or other processing outside Türkiye or your country. Provider locations and onward processing depend on the service and applicable provider arrangements; their notices describe their international operations.
Where KVKK Article 9 or GDPR Chapter V applies, a transfer requires the applicable legal conditions and transfer mechanism. The existence of a provider’s global privacy notice does not itself establish that every required safeguard for a particular Cinetools transfer has been implemented. Contact info@cine-tools.com for information about destinations and safeguards relevant to your relationship with us. This Policy is not blanket consent to international transfers.
Retention
Retention depends on the purpose and nature of each record, the customer relationship, relevant accounting and legal obligations, and periods needed to establish or defend claims. Order, transaction and related support records can remain necessary after delivery to establish the purchase, license entitlement, refund history or legal obligations. PayPal, Payloadz and other independent providers retain their own records under their applicable policies and obligations.
We do not promise a single fixed deletion period or automatic deletion of all customer records. If you request deletion, we assess which records remain necessary under a lawful ground and which can be deleted or anonymised. Information no longer needed for a lawful purpose is subject to deletion or anonymisation in accordance with applicable obligations. Withdrawal from marketing does not require deletion of an order or accounting record that must be retained.
Your rights and how to contact us
Depending on the law and its conditions, you may request information and access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing and withdraw consent. Where applicable, an objection to direct marketing includes related profiling. You may complain to the competent supervisory authority.
KVKK Article 11 provides rights to learn whether personal data is processed, obtain processing information, learn its purpose and recipients in Türkiye or abroad, request correction or deletion where the conditions apply and notification to relevant recipients, object to an adverse result arising exclusively from automated analysis, and seek compensation for unlawful processing. Listing that right does not mean we carry out such automated decisions.
Send enquiries to info@cine-tools.com or write to the company address in Section 1. Identify the relevant relationship and request without sending unnecessary sensitive documents. Proportionate identity verification may be needed. Formal KVKK applications can be made in writing or through another legally recognised method; an ordinary email enquiry does not necessarily meet every formal application requirement. Requests are handled within the applicable statutory periods, including the KVKK maximum of 30 days for responding to a valid application. Rights are subject to applicable exceptions and lawful retention requirements.
Security and policy updates
The website is served over HTTPS and access to WordPress administration requires authentication. These measures do not guarantee absolute security. Use appropriate care when communicating with us, and do not send passwords or full payment credentials. Contact info@cine-tools.com if you suspect misuse of information connected with an order or enquiry.
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our services, practices or legal requirements. The effective date identifies the published revision. Additional notice or fresh consent will be provided where required. A revised notice does not itself authorise a new processing purpose.
